Skiing With a Church Group

So i'm usually stuck skiing my rocky home hill near Helena and I have the opportunity to go to Whitefish in late January with my church group. The thing is most of the kids in my church group are total goons and probably never ski at all and I'll have to stay with them (not while skiing). Is it worth it to go to Whitefish with my goony church group and shred alone? Info about Whitefish and what it's like that time of year would also be helpful. +K for good answers.

Ive only heard good things about Whitefish sounds like its a real legit mountain I'd go. If there is a hot female on said trip you might be able to scoop her if all the other dudes are lame.

Definitely a worthwhile trip to in my eyes. Like others have said, It's not unlikely that another kid is doing the same thing just to shred. Plus whitefish is theymm
