Skiing with a cast?

Yo yo, last weekend at key I took a stupid fall and ended up fracturing my thumb in 3 places and tearing most ligaments in my thumb.

They wrapped me up with a surprisingly large cast and neither my mittens or gloves will fit now.

What have you guys done to make skiing with a cast more attainable? Thanks

Dont send it too hard and stick to hot lappin groomers and jibbin all mountain, probs the best tips I can give to u

Wear the biggest mitts you can find on your injured hand and wear what you normally wear on the other hand. It might require some modification to the mitt and don't expect to ski with poles but its definitely doable.

broken my wrist 2 years in a row and my advice would be to know your limitations and only do tricks you feel really comfortable with. stay out of the park entirely if you have to

This happened to me a few years back. Rather than spending money on an XXL pair of mitts that won't fit in three months just use a big thick ski sock over the cast. might be hard with poles or grabs but it keeps your hand warm atleast
