skiing w/ headphones

I'm using my mp3 player with the in-the-ear headphones...works fine but they slide out after a few runs. I have a burton RED helmet.

I tried on the bad LT and it doesnt fit me...i'm in between a small and a medium...and the burton helmet is expensive as hell...although it seems like it's probly worth it because of the convenience.

Anyone found a way to make this problem go away?

her'es what you do. the red skycap has earflaps sewn at the bottoms. cut them open, take apart a shitty pair of headphones, and stick the speakers in there. it works.

yeah thats what i did last year with my BL. my mommy sewed it back up for my after i put the headphones in there. Only problem is if you dont want to listen theres no way to unplub the cord from your ear flaps which means you just got this annoying cord hanging around. you could try to make the thing that the tune ups have where you can plug in and unplug from the ear flap but it would be pretty hard to make your own.

^ If you know basic electronics and soldering it wouldn't be very hard to install little plugs. Just take the headphone speakers and install little sockets where the cord once was. You can get little sockets and plugs at mouser.com for cheap (or RadioSmack if yur desperate). Then take the old cord to the headphones and put plugs on the ends to fit into the sockets in the earflaps.

Have you ever seen a little kid slide back down the inrun of a kicker without going over? This is why parents shouldn't dump their kids off anywhere near the park...
 
anyone know where i can get a switch to put into headphones, or does anybody ski with a red ordinance audio hat? i have a bl and i ski witha beanie under it, and little headphones under that. would the ordinance solve my problem?

hmmm... I learned about electronics and soldering this year, maybe I'll try to make my own tuneups for the giro Im getting
