Skiing Video Game Petition

wow what an illegitimate argument for a petition, you didn't even offer a point, you just said realistic a bunch of times. Maybe look at the past 5 skiing game online petitions that have been made and compile all the best parts into one or else just back out now because its a sure-fail situation.

needless to say i did not sign that.

im just frustrated because there isnt a good skiing game out there.
 
Signed but i doubt its gunna make them make it. its like sueing 3D0 because Johnny Moselys Mad Trixs made skiing look easy and not fun just like the game.
 
Agreed. And while were at it lets steal the license to the nfl so that they cant make madden anymore because it sucks.

You should talk to Enlighter on NS. He's got a game being made in progress. There was a HUGE brainstorming session for at least a month last year around this time.
 
On second thought, sign the halfpipe ski olympics petition, get a hundred of your friends and family to watch ski halfpipe in 2010, have those same people shun snowboard halfpipe in order to skew the nielsen ratings, don't buy shaun white snowboarding, and pray that Tanner signs with Nike and ends up in commercials alongside king james. Then, maybe, you will see a major studio flirt with the idea of developing a ski game...until then, download jibbin' and pray they put out v. 2 with a third axis of rotation in the next 18 months.
 
here is my view: a good skiing game is not possible because our sport is based on water. look at all the surfing games that are out there, they suck. This is because water is the most impossible element to simulate. The snow on a mountain is constantly changing and that is what makes skiing. The closest thing you are going to come to a decent skiing game is jibberish, and they pretty much nailed it aside from the physics, and even then, good physics will only increase the games potential by maybe a half of point. Now if you just want to be entertained, play Ski or Die for Nintendo. Absolutely the best game ever created.
