Skiing South America on the Cheap

So I'm graduating college this semester and I was thinking about trying to take a trip to shred in South America this summer relatively cheaply. Looking for tips, stories, experiences, best time of summer conditions wise, etc....

I've never been so I don't have any real advice however I'd think k you should learn a bit of the National language of the country you're visiting

I've studied Spanish since I was ten, I minored in it in college, and have lived abroad. I'm damn close to fluent.

Hahahah I'm from chile and let me tell you, you will have a hard time, the accents here are hard to pick up and they are also very different from each other

Ski resorts to go: Valle nevado, El Colorado, Nevados de Chillan, Las Leñas, Bariloche, San martin de los Andes and Portillo.

I don't actually know about de prices but I would guess that the resorts near Santiago (Valle nevado, el Colorado and la Parva) are the cheapest, being el Colorado the cheapest one of those three.

It all comes down to what are you interested in, if you want to ski more powder than anything, then I would recommend Las Leñas or Nevados de Chillan, if you don't mind the snow and you would like to go to have a more broad trip (not just skiing related) then I would fly to Santiago.

If you need any help just shoot me a pm.

skiing isnt cheap no matter where you go. so youre best bet is finding cheap airfare and lodging and suck up to the fact that youre gonna pay a shit ton to ski every day.
