Has anyone seen that during commercials on mtv news there are interviews with wallisch and dumont? Also footage from if3

good or bad exposure?

o no our sport is getting bigger and is on mtv..lets all hate on skiing now because its not underground.

it's always good for more people to hear about skiing. i don't like MTV at all but so many young people watch it so it can't be bad.

It makes me happy. I don't know about you but everyone at my school is anti-ski and pro-board. If I tell someone i ski there immediate response is, "GAY! Snowboarding is way cooler." Our generation needs to see what freeskiing has to offer or snowboarding is going to completely take over.
 
Considering a lot of the original newschool pros from 10 years ago were working real jobs as soon as they stopped being a pro skier... well any big time exposure is awesome to see.
 

Not that we watch mtv... but it seems like its a good thing..any positive exposer for freeskiing should be good for all involved. The word is out, that skiing is back, and it is badass!!

Are you kidding? Skiing was underground about 6 years ago. Skiing has never been underground for the most part either.
 
people seem to be getting the idea that my opinion was its bad!

i live like 20 minutes from and resort and there are only like 20 kids that ski in my whole school, yet 50% know who simon dumont and tom wallisch are

i think its awesome, especially when the olympics are in consideration
 
This has been the case for every year for the past 10 years...it's awesome to see it continue.
 
when i was in france, val'diesre there was this tiny tunnel to a run that i had to crouch down to go under

claim!
