Skiing needs to step it's web game up bigtime!

I wish we could Pete, theres just not enough money to go around to give out free amazing content like that.

I feel like skiing needs a magazine or someone else to step up and put out sick content like this

skating has thrasher

snowboarding has transworld/snowboarder mag

skiing has....freeskier? meh

this! nimbus put out like 2 or 3 10-20 minute edits a season? can't really complain about that..

I feel like this is a poor way of thinking (no pun intended). Look at what people like Nimbus and Traveling Circus have created. I think the bigger problem in skiing right now that is preventing more amazing web series like this being created is people aren't as quick to evolve and adapt to changing media platforms and ways of distributing media. If you have the drive and motivation to create something powerful people will take notice and you will be rewarded. It's very easy to sit back and say, "let's get our crew, film all winter, release a trailer then drop a full movie in the fall". That road map is already laid out for you, you don't have to do any real thinking and there is very little risk. Don't get me wrong, it takes a good amount of money to get in and out of the back country that much and hire someone to film at that level. But what is almost more important in my eyes is for someone to have the creativity, motivation and the willingness to take a risk on something new.

This was massive hammers for 7+ minutes right in their backyard each and every day.Sorry, skiing doesn't have this many A+ bangers in a single web edit, EVER!

Money isn't the issue, dedication is. There isn't one crew in skiing besides STEPT capable of this type of material. KIDS are friends, but they don't produce anything via skiing.

I've seen Devun Walsh in the parking lot. He get's there early every single day, EVERY SINGLE DAY and he's 37 year's old.

I like Nimbus and their material is awesome, but I know their schedules, they aren't as tight as these guys right here. Yes, Nimbus crew are great friends, but they disperse their commitments between tons of different media outlets. This web series edit is one for all, all for ONE!

Exactly. Above anything else it takes serious dedication to want to create something great.

Well buying a truck and a sled then driving it to Whistler for three weeks of sledding isnt exactly cheap, sure wish I could afford a trip like that
