Skiing needs a podcast as good as The Bomb Hole

After binging all the bomb hole podcasts while at work the last 2 weeks it's clear skiing needs a podcast this good. Or the bomb hole will keep having skiers on and rise to the top in the action sports podcasting realm. It is seriously so good as far as name that video part and questions from other pro riders.

So my question becomes why doesn't skiing have something this good? No offense to the Powell movement or any of the other podcasts they are great but the phone/ zoom interviews just aren't as good as in the booth live on air for 2 hours. Anyone with clout in the ski industry in SLC or really any major ski destination get a setup going in your garage and get on it.
 
I was just thinking of this today as I was listening to a blading podcast that enjoy and I'm not really into it as much as I am with skiing. A Newschoolers podcast would be awesome
 
I feel like Jackson Karsteter could do it since he’s already got some leverage in the industry with his railskiing account. Pretty much just continue what Cory Iyoob did w his squidskiing podcasts.

Yeah agreed I recently listed to the one squidcork podcast and really enjoyed it but then found out from meme cork on a Shredsauce lobby that railskiing wasn’t doing it anymore… memecork said he wanted to continue doing the podcast but idk

Skierman and whoever current MOTM is can host and interview guests.
 
Freedle and Pwhite need to be guest hosts from the bombhole garage for ski specific interviews... only possible solution.

y’all obviously aren’t responding well to Simon Dumont being a colossal douche for 40+ episodes straight.

I’ll take the challenge tho; I’ve always wanted to start a pod where I roast TGR posts for one hour segments. Guests will hopefully be creators like Ankilla, Dolan, and Skierman. I actually do believe there a lot of marketability in those three, all joking aside. Like it or not they have ideas and speak them.
 
The bomb hole is fire. Hoping they get twally on there.

If skiing gets something as good I'd listen. Please don't badly copy it though. Best thing is organic chemistry.

But yeah I'm a buyer if it's good
 
This is the best idea for a NS podcast yet. I think you need to shorten the format tho, I don’t think I could listen to those 3 for an hour.

The squidskiing one was good I wished that one continued . I did like the bombhole. I like the content of Simons podcast but I can't stand his hosting... although he is improving. I'm liking the Mayrand and the two planker ones too lately.

The host has to be a good interviewer and set it up well to enjoy it.

At first I thought his podcast was going to be great and he would eventually learn to let his guest speak and not repeat himself. But nope it’s the same. He just reads out of a thesaurus now to keep from using the same words over and over again. It’s almost like he asks questions because he wants to answer them.

You'd get hit with way more possible legal trouble for rustling the jimmies of a ski company or pro. But yeah, we need something a bit more authentic and fun. Jokes, banter, making fun of stuff in the industry, bringing up very fair points about whats wrong with the industry, whats right, etc. But in a light fun way. that kind of deal. Sorta akin to like a Pardon My Take or whatever

Nah u got it all wrong. I’m talking about basically picking a pro, company, mountain, etc and just putting an hour or so of hate speech out there.
 
Guest include motm, recently banhammered member, random "pro" of the day, "eheath weighs in on_____", ankillas diet tips, what skierman hates today, etc.

Steve Stepp tried this already with Saga. I ended up getting blackout drunk on wine and spilled shit all over their computer stuff ruining the show. So yeah, god doesn't want skiing to have an edgy, real show. God only wants fake ass "love everyone" bullshit.

The podcast they had with Sage Kotsenburg was one of the best podcast I’ve ever listened to. Listen to it, it’ll change your mind.

I like this idea. Sure Chris has some outlandish ideas but he definitely has some interesting points especially when it comes to the culture of skiing, trick selection, kit choices, all that jazz. He knows how to recognize good skiing too.

similar with Dolan. Sure Dolan will be Dolan but I feel like that mf smart as fuck with the technical/gear side of skiing.

yes skierman is an asshole but it’s honestly entertaining sometimes. He makes some valid points too. He injects the right/necessary amount of negativity into the culture and is aware that there really can’t be a lovey dovey 100% positivity bullshit kinda thing in skiing.

as someone said they all speak their mind regardless and that’s why I respect em, they’re not afraid of what people might think.

We should get ski boss on one of these shows to ask him about Roe v. Wade and COVID
 
The Another Level podcast was pretty good especially when they were doing the Level 20 stuff and talking about all the movies. It was fun to hear the background and then go watch the movies. They did some stuff this past winter and had guests like Brady Perron, P white and the strictly boys, hope it picks up again

Another level, Two planker and Mayrand podcast are all amazing. There’s a lot of younger pros I’d love to hear from so hopefully more episodes are dropped during the year.
