is there actually a law in new york state that says you cant do inverted tricks? or is that just some rumor i heard

there is a law prohibiting inverts but the only time i here kids following it is when they use it as an excuse for being a pussy.

^ Yea, most areas don't bother to check anyways. They just write the law in small print on the back of your lift ticket, which no one looks at anyways. If you break your neck doing an invert, its your fault for not looking on the back of the ticket.

i've gotten bitched at for doing inverts before... even had my season pass 'clipped' in the corner as a warning. it has everything to do with insurace. the rates they pay are rediculous to begin with, and they would be uncoverable if they didnt have no invert rules.

and to the idiot that said you cannot enforce that law or whatever... of course you can. you pay to use their facilities under their conditions. if you don't follow their rules, no matter how asinine they may be, you are obligated to go elsewhere. god, there are alot of twatasses on here.

i remember getting my ticket clipped daily for poaching the pipe back in the day of snowboarders only.

yeah on the sign on my mountain says like 'no inverts' or something.. but it doesn't matter. cuz my mountian is so small. only like 3 people can do inverts. its cool tho i hang at the park all the time and the ratio of trick skiers to snow boarders is like 1 to 2 witch seems alot higher than a coule years back. SKIERS WILL RISE OVER SNOWBOARDERS!...yeah would be awsome

its a state law in PA, and it would make ski area insurance much higher than it already is. and they can enforce it, rather easily. if your seen doing an invert, there will be a ski patroler waiting for you at the lift line at my mountain in most cases

haha a law, ny has more ski areas than any other state. It's for insurance reasons, I work in a terrain park, basicly if you can land them go ahead, but if your a texas fucktard. get the hell out.
