Skiing into water

i have a house on an island that i go to in the summer, and theres a pier that is 10-30 feet above the water depending on the tide. the water is super deep, so you need to swim when you jump off. If i set up a rail by the edge or just flipped off the edge into the water with my skis on, will i sink and die? or will i be able to swim?

Put a water trampoline on the landing, so you'll hit it and double off of it back onto the top of the cliff. Trust me I'm a physicist.

done. but thanks to math it turns out if i wear one of those old fashioned orange life jackets, i will not sink. so yall can expect at least a small edit this summer.

maybe get tethers for your skis so they don't sink
