Skiing in sweatpants?

Can't find very many examples at the moment. Maybe this is just the bunch doing it's thing. But what's up with people skiing in adidas training pants? Is this a new trend that i'm misunderstanding?

It's definitely a new trend. I'm gonna be rocking pajama pants next year though. Switch it up a bit and still get that comfort.

Well I skied in trackpants on the glacier this summer because snowpants are too warm, and I like the style because it is something different.

My homeboy Jay rocked some PJ pants last spring at Timberline. Baller GI Joe PJs. Dude just woke up drove to the mountain and skied all day in the same thing he slept in.

I usually ski in jeans during the summer, definitely more comfortable than snowpants, so I don't see why people wouldn't ski in trackpants. I'm sure we'll see a lot more trackpants this winter though
