Skiing in next Olympics!

K2skeepimp, again YOU are a sucking piece of lard. Man your right, that wasnt the Olympics. It was one of those 600 other comps at Salt Lake that he was in and involved moguls and way too many fans for such an event. I'm thinking that they actually go 100 ft while we're on the subject of exagerating. However, i will admit that for the size of jump and the landing they have, they do pretty good in the air. Oh, and by the way there is a difference between style, and good style. Plus, we say how good it looked off one of these 100ft mogul jumps. Or wait... what the hell. Ya, i have a magic TV that shows me different things from what everyone else sees. Time to go kill myself.

BTW if you're arguing about if it was a dinner roll or not.. it wasn't 'the dinner roll' if you look back to like 98 or 99 when he had his own invitational the 'dinner roll' was inverted but his jump in the olympics was a corked 7.

Mercer: drinking mans protein shake

Me: hahhhahahahaha

Mercer: sick ass

Me: That's the funnyest thing I've heard all day

Mercer: good make it your sig on ns.com faggot

Mercer: and hump the vacume while your at it.

You know that could be. It was done so fast due to the small size of the jump that you couldnt really tell anyway. Im just going by what was said in his interviews in the mags.

HOLY CRAP! I had to skip over some of that, but I think I've learned enough to make a good point.

I personally think that if the skiing goes down like the boarding did, then everything will be cool. Great exposure for the sport and all. The thing I worry about most is the judging. Someone is going to have to explain to the FIS what new-school style is, so that they don't go giving bad marks because a guy threw up his free hand and pointed to the gods (like your supposed to).

For snowboarding i think that the judges had a good grasp on what their style was, giving more points to the smooth, clean rotations rather than the 'balerina' style (this probably confused the FIS at first, but they listened).

And on the topic of only getting to bring 4 people to the olympics, I totally agree with holding an open comp right before hand to decide. This way the truly good athletes (the ones who developed halfpipe skiing) can ride, without having to worry about some yuppi national coach bogging down on there style.

So ya. With an open comp to qualify, and proper judging (both of which have been proven VERY possible by the Olympic Snowboard Comp) we should definitely be happy that halfpipe can make the olympics.

Peace.

Why don't they just put moguls in the halfpipe? Makes sense to me.

What's happening?

I keep my dredlocks in a napkin ring.

Mosely did not do a dinner roll in the olympics, if you don't believe me, there is a clip in the videos section of this site, go under 'skier' and look for jonny mosely.

Yea I want cheezy poofs

Ya could be, id rather not take the time to check. Besides, whether it was or wasnt, isnt really what matters. It didnt look good. Thats all. Post further above explains this.

it was a corked 7 no doubt, and it looked a lot better than his standard dinner roll, but was still small and spinning real quick
