Skiing in may? Where to go?

So I've almost finished my first year at uni and had a pretty short season due to all the work. I finish the 26th of April, and I'm looking into skiing sometime soon after that. Where would you guys recommend I go for 2 weeks in May to ski park? Nothing too ridiculously expensive either.

On the East Coast there's a chance that Jay Peak will still be open - but the last 2 weeks haven't bee so good so who knows.
Besides that go to WHISLA baby! Skiing/drinking/bud smoking mecca!

I went to Hood last year and it was really fun. Never paid to camp or stay and the pass was 99$. Rained a lot and most of our afternoons were spent trying to build a fire with soaking wet wood, but still had a great time.

Was looking into going to Mammoth this year, but their passes are so much more expensive, so I'll probably be back at Hood.

Mammoth- best all around, but not as cheap, have to get to from reno, you can camp if need be, motel 6 is probably the cheapest in town.

Squaw-usually have a 180 dollar spring pass good from mid april to mid may

pool/hot tub on mountain at High Camp(shower there if you camp)

Hood- 99 dollar spring pass, but weather can be hit or miss

Bachelor, usually have a 99dollar spring pass I think maybe it's a bit more, weather can be bad also

yeah i know its true and sad. i mena this year i know whitefacecould make it till late april, but theyre debating extending theyre closing date past april 10th. being a state-run mountain has its benefits and drawbacks.
i know killy could definitly make it to may though

sugarloaf is usually open until early may and prob could stay open even later but no on would go. mammoth sounds like your best choice, dont come to the east

not sure if it was a regular thing, but one season a decade ago Killington was still open Mid May. May 20something. Tuckermans is an option in May as well.

Hahah same, crazy what with the winter we had, sucks, but im so pumped for next season, and spring for that matter.

im considering making a trip to killy towards april 20th or so (not not a 420 trip hahaha) thats just when my spring break is.

And by mammoth you mean all of mid to northern California resorts.

I will probably be skiing in Tahoe well into July. So much for mountain bike season, oh well I like skiing more anyway.

I wouldn't go to Sweden, everything's closed by may, except for some extreme northern freeride resorts. Europe is good, but don't expect any "normal" resorts to be open, by then it will only be glacier resorts. But there are plenty of those, especially austrian glaciers are sick in may, check out Stubai, Kaunertal, Dachstein, Hintertux.
