Skiing in Iran

why do that when you can ski in canada, switzerland, usa, france, austria, new zealand, japan, chile, argentina, and all those other places?

 
they explained that, they said they wanted a different experience and an adventure. i think skiing in iran would be mad fun. and seven dollars for a lift ticket!
 
at momentum there was this guy that was on the danish national team or something (which isn't that good) who said that he skied in Iran and that it was some of the best skiing he has had - if i wasn't american i would think about it

My friend is on the French National Junior Ski Team, and he went there for training and to run some FIS races to lower is points some, and he said it was frigin awesome. They ate in the Mosque like everyday, and everyone was super chill apparently.
 
I cant believe i just watched that. That was the biggest piece of crap bleeding heart liberal propaganda. First of all, obviously indigenous mountaineers aren't going to be Islamic fundamentalists... Idk what this kid is trying to get but if he's trying to say that Iran making nuclear arms isn't a big deal then he's a huge retard. If he thinks just because a country has a couple of mountains with powder justifies the right to back off a rogue nation arming themselves with armageddon then he is sadly mistaken. Plus they suck at skiing. Oh yea, if everyone just beat off all the time there would be no wars either.

that doesnt mean their mentality isnt wrong and that we should just accept their rogue islamically ideoligical mindset. Moreover, the argument that the people appear to be peaceful in one given market and is therefore, sufficient basis to extrapolate the the idea that the head political regime is peaceful isn't valid. Most of the German people under the third reich didn't hate America or England, and look at what happened there. People were brainwashed and feared into hating us.
 
We don't know their mindset, though. It's all speculation that Bush is trying to support with spun/false information on their uranium enrichment program. Iran is not a threat, so we should leave them the fuck alone. It's as easy as that. Compare it to arresting someone for a robbery they haven't committed yet because they went and bought a gun and "look" like someone that would rob a place.

i think you'll find the problem in the middle east is not the american people and its certainly not the iranian or iraqi people. its people like rumsfeld, cheney etc who make woeful efforts to disguise their greed as the main incentive behind their interest in the area, but perhaps most of all, the problem is israel, and the strength of the jewish lobby in the us.

don't get me wrong, i'm not racist, my girlfriend is jewish, but the reason middle eastern leaders hate america is not because they hate western principles or western people, its because they hate israel and the fact that america supports israel.

as such, i think you'd find most if not all iranians/iraqis but have no problem with you as a westerner- they might even be insulted that you assume they would...

Pick up a Scott Ritter book. He's a former UN weapon's inspector and has been to Iran many times over. You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Honestly, you don't have the slightest clue.

They also ski in Lebanon, one of the most fucked up countries on earth. Where are they skiing on the "enjoy" trailer? That place looks dope.
 
I know this is like a Uber thread dig, but i ski here soemtimes cause its like and hur plane flight away from where i live, and all im going to say is, ive skiied PoW in whistler and it was good, but iran is 10x better for the pow pow.

What they said about it was that: It is they driest powder you could imagine, there are nobody to compete with for the fresh because nobody is good enough to ski it, the lifts are all 2nd rate russian lifts from the early 70s, when the were there they couldnt set a foot without releasing an avalanche because it was the first snowfall of the season, everything was incredibly cheap down there also they had an amazing time seeing the culture there...

there was a sick article about sjiin in Iran in Outside Magazine last year. It looks like one of the coolest places to ski ever. i hate my passport, the two places i wanna go to; iran and cuba, im not allowed to visit.
