Skiing in Europe

Hello friends!

I'm going to be travelling to Europe with my Mum and brother over new years and christmas this year and was hoping for a bit of guidance on where we could possibly go for 4-5 days of skiing.

My brother and I are quite good skiers but our dear old Mum is getting on a bit and can probably only handle some of the easier groomed runs.

Is anyone able to make any suggestions on somewhere that might suit the 3 of us?

We're from Australia so pretty much anywhere is going to blow us away lol...

So far I'm thinking either Val d'Isère or Lech Zuers.

Any advice is appreciated!

I should also add, not super interested in park, just wanting to go somewhere with awesome snow and go and explore :)

Thanks again in advance!

Park wise you'll have to visit the Absolut Park in Flauchauwinkl , also St Anton's Snowpark is quite nice too! I've your going to Tirol you should also visit Moreboards Stubai Park , or the Vans Penken Park in Mayrhofen.

Thanks mate, I'll look into them :)

Courmayeur in Italy has got quite a good park also for beginners and has a lot of slopes of any kind and it also hosted the freeride world tour for three times.

Don't forget Italy...we are the heart of the Alps!

I suggest you Cervinia, it'is cool, very big. Two hours by car from Milan. From Cervinia you could also go to Zermatt in Switzerland passing the glacier with the cable car very easily.
