Skiing Escalator Rail

Ya’ll think it would be possible to hit one of those moving escalator rails on skis? I think it would be sick if you could just stick to it and slide down at the same speed at the rail but ig it all depends on if you can break past the static friction of it. Idk what do you guys think

Would be dope if it was a down escalator and you went up to it super slow, landed on the rail and stuck, then just ride down at escalator speed

The escalators I have been on have a softer plastic/rubbery hand rail. I couldn't imagine that would be ideal for sliding
