Hi Newschoolers.

My name's Matt and I grew up in Switzerland, France, Germany and England. I used to be qualified to teach skiing, windsurfing and sailing.

In 2010, I had an accident so had to stop.

I went back to university in England and last week I submitted my final bit of work of my sports journalism degree.

This is my video, it's all about my recovery and skiing.

CR Johnson, High Fives and Jacob Wester were pretty big influences in my life/recovery.

I hope to make a career of writing and making videos about free skiing, alternative sports and travel.

If you guys have a spare 14 minutes I'd love to get some feedback on the video.

Amazing video, watched all of it, still can't believe you attempted a backflip that takes some real balls. It's cool how many pros and former pros reached out to help you along your journey, it really says a lot about skiing community as a whole. Hoping to see you stop it on the airbags next year and then send it on snow!
 
Yeah the skiing community has been amazing since the very beginning. 100% the best bunch of people!

Honestly, a lot of places people think I’m drunk/on drugs, when they see me walk but any mountain town (Chamonix, Truckee...) people just rate the recovery!
