Skiing at Tufts University?

Anybody know (or are) a person who either goes to or went to Tufts University and skis? I heard they have a ski lodge in NH but wasn't sure how popular skiing was with the kids there. Thanks

I was highly considering Tufts at the beginning of my college search. Took my first tour, weather was shitty, tour guide was a dick, but I wanted to like it really badly due to it's location and academic quality. Came back for a second tour, same thing. Didn't end up applying. I know three kids who go/went there. They are all very "normal" kids, similar to me and probably a lot of other people on this website. Two of them transferred out, one is staying due to the pre-med program, but also isn't a huge fan. They say the social life is odd and there seem to be a larger than normal proportion of kids who are weird compared to other schools. Plus they say the academic competition between students is brutal. My gf knows a couple people who go/went there, same case. Could be the case that I know the outliers, but like I said, they're all pretty similar to me and others on this website.

Plus I rode in the gondola with a bunch of Tufts ski team members at Gore like last year and they seemed like enormous douchbags. Tried to talk to them about college and shit, pretty much just ignored me.

yep fair enough, i feel that. i dont think anyone goes to tufts for the social life haha

also no offense to anyone but ski teams in general are kinda douche magnets, no surprise that a tufts one included some fart sniffers

anyway, doesnt matter to me, personally im a janitor at MIT even though im smarter than most of the people that go there

For sure it's right for some people. Personally just think there's a lot of schools with the same academic quality that are a lot more fun/normal to go to

If you're trying to go to a good school in New England and ski look at Colby, easy day drive to the loaf and saddleback

Holy fuck they practically invaded Gore when I was home for winter break. By far some of the snootiest assholes I've ever seen at that mountain aside from the passive/aggressive NYSEF families that are always there on the weekends.
