Skiing and summer.

Im from New England, and ski Sugarbush. In the summer i am a 5 minute walk to the beach. I am really lucky to live here, but sugarbush has gotten no snow this year. Thinking of places that I could ski that my family would also be able to have fun at the beach. Right now I am looking somewhere near San Fran, and skiing at Kirkwood CA. This is also just my mind going off, and probably won't happen, but I want to look at all options to pitch to my family.

So are you thinking about moving?

tbh idk. it really isn't my decision, and i have grown up on the beach. I would like a change of scenery, but it will be hard to get my sister to s place without a beach. I have never done any big mountain skiing, and my fathers work headquarters are around san fran. so to answer your question, maybe?

Most of the tahoe crowds are from the bay are, so yes you can make ski trips from there pretty easily. If that's what you're asking?

Kirwkwood is sick, but tahoe hasn't been exactly getting hammered with snow. Kirkwood has gotten some in these last storms though.
