What do you define as "Make a living"?

Simple lifestyle and there is loads of jobs. Different if you're talking about being able to buy a Bugatti and ski.

Related to skiing? Become a doctor. Good money there.

just make a descent income, like be able to live comfortably, yet still be able to ski a couple times a week. something you could grow old and do

Get a job for a school or a public agency or someplace (maybe even a private company) where you can build up a bank of vacation time and have flexibility with your winter schedule. Not hard to ski at least a couple days a week all season if you bank 16 hours of vacation a month plus all the holiday closures. Lots of options and if you can find something you feel good about doing it isn't that hard to stick around however long it takes to earn the maximum amount of vacation time.

Becoming a rep is a good start, do events, tell shop employees about products, etc. I know vp status jobs can ring in six figures though, even managing a ski shop can be good money.

I work on commercial ships. Good money and winter layup gives me the whole winter off. Not skiing related, but your able to ski everyday

This is my plan. Good ole government. Stack up those vakay days over the summer and spend them on pow days in the winter. Plus I'll get holidays off.

what's an example of a job like this

If you're fascinated with snow and weather, avalanche forecasting can be good. You won't get rich but you're on skis every day, analyze snow every day, and gain invaluable knowledge and experience. Unless I'm much mistaken, there is considerable demand for avalanche safety personnel anywhere there are big mountains.
