Skiier rage stories

Once someone chucked their skis across the run, realized they had to go pick them up, then proceeded to throw their poles too

One time I was riding with some dudes from WNY. A bunch of us hit one of the jumps in our jump line and there was a gaper chillin in the landing. I didn't come close to hitting him, but a few other people got pretty close I guess. We met up towards the bottom and some of the dudes gathered up some snowballs and threw them at the gaper when he came down(none of them hit the guy). He freaked out clicked out of his skis and started running up to us. We skied away but the guy goes after my friend AK who wasn't even involved and AK was still bound into his board. Basically the dude ended up with his face in the slush while AK slide down the hill. The dude threw a few punches but didn't make contact at all. They went at it and the dude calmed down, realized he was being a dick, and gave AK a beer.

I guess in the meantime another guy had picked up one of the gaper's skis and skied down with it. When the rest of us got down to the lift we saw it sticking up out of the trash can and it was probably one of the funniest things I've seen while skiing. Dude deserved it.

my friend told me this story aboutwhen he was at killington and a bunch of little kids were standing in the landing so a snowboarder aproaches the dad and asks for his kids to be moved so the dad pushed him and the snowboarder punches him and he falls. Not much detail but rage

and the og

Was standing in lifline going along with the line , when suddendly some 50-60 year old fucker punched me , proceeded to insult me and shit. Thought about telling ski patrol to go and get this fuckers pass pulled , but then didnt.

I don't think it's cool or justifying at all to punch a dad in front of their kids no matter how wrong the dad is....

I was skiing with my friend and we just got down from run. Down at the lift this euro guy in a tight jumpsuit skis out to the lift and pushes him over then calling him a pig. Right when he came up to the top we gathered as many snowballs as we could carry (there was about 10 of us). We yell "hey pig!" and throw all of our snowballs at him and ski down switch grabbing our nuts. I'd say he got what he deserved

Skiing with my friends on the early season setup and some douches chubby wife fell 5 feet from a little cylinder to stall on and he ditched his wife to come call my 13 year old friend a little shit then proceeded to go off all the rails jumps with little to no skiing ability.

i was skiing some moguls and went to pop off the last one onto the groomer. i didn't look before i popped and i ended up jumping right into some skier guy in his 30s. I twisted in air so fortunately i didn't hit him, but i nicked the back of one of his skis causing him to spin out, but he didn't fall. luckily, both of us were fine. i went over to him and said sorry, but he just got pissed. he started cussing me out, and then his friend came over and started to cuss me out. they said they were gonna take my pass away (yeah right) and just tons of stuff. it went on for like 5 minutes. at first i tried to apologize and ski away, but he wouldn't allow it, they just wanted to rip on me. it was just dumb because the two guys were both like in their 30s totally cussing some random highschooler kid out for no reason. i mean i know i messed up making him spin out, but he overreacted wayyyyyyy to much. it was dumb

It was a really sketchy day at the Ridge, wind was howling, cold as balls, ice everywhere anyways one of the lifties tells this 8 year old to be careful because it is sketchy up there, and this one liftie is known for his chillness, if the lift stops he whips out an accordion and starts playing some tunes, anyways later I see the kids dad run up to the liftie and start throwing him around, cussing him out and threatening to kill him, he was so pissed finally some dude shoves the douche off him and the dad scampers off still cussing him out while his kid is watching and listening like 10 feet away, I don't know why people are so rude.

Also this one time this guy was flipping out cause this dog was trying to play with him, he was trying to run away from the dog, screaming and eventually crying, he clearly wasn't running on all cylinders, he must of been deathly afraid of dogs maybe he was attacked by a dog as a kid or something but he was soon scared.

once upon a time, this skier was called a skiier and it filled him with skier rage so he socked the dude

I was going pretty fast down the hill and then I went to stop and I looked behind me to see if I would be hit and saw no one, so I stopped. Then outta nowhere this gaper in a full power wedge clipped the back of my skis. They were almost totally outta control and going 25 mph. I was pretty scared. Remeber, never underestimate the danger of a gaper

When I was little and on snowboard team I bombed a whole run top to bottom with out a single turn and a guy comes right out the side of the run and I ran over the tails of his skis and he flipped out and he was like 65 and then everybody around me and most of the snow board team gave me so much shit I know it was mostly my fault but they way over reacted and cussed me out and threatened to pull my pass but I was like 9 or 10 shot was fucked up.

I was cleaning up the big air at my local hill and while I was behind it with the metal rake, I see this 30 year old gaper coming to hit the jump that I was working on. So I scream at him telling him to stop because he would have jumped and hit me or the rake. After he stopped, I proceed to tell him that he shouldn't hit the jump while someone is working on it and that my skis were in front of the jump to tell people it was closed. He then argued that my skis (with bright orange fks) weren't visible enough and lectures me on how to do my job. After a while he leaves but then, while I moved down to work on another feature, I see a guy without a helmet coming down so again I scream and tell him to stop so that I can tell him he shouldn't be in the park without a helmet. Turns out, it was the same guy and he then screamed at me telling me that I'm not doing my job properly. He just left and I didn't see him for the rest of the day

A part from the occasional young snowboarder chilling in the landing waiting to get decapitated (where i get all pissed for a while and then tell him it's cool, whatever, thank god no one got hurt), i witnessed a pretty saddening and shocking fight at my mountain:

A crew of say 4 g looking snowboarders and 1 skier (who i didn't know, but he was steezy af and had a butter game i've rarely seen matched in person) were cruising near the park on the last sunday of big french winter holidays (when typically locals would go up because there's barely anyone on the piste). These 2 kids around 13-16 max (who both had twin tips, non baggy clothes) were filming with a go pro and getting some 3s and alright tricks on boxes. They were following the line of the park. The crew was jibbing around, kinda cutting in-between features and happen to overtake the 2 kids and ended up jumping a lip to the side of a small landing. the kids take the jump at that time and land pretty close to the skier and one snowboarder. Wasn't the kids fault at all, maybe they could have seen the crew cutting in, but not their fault. Crew really should of checked before cutting. They get scared, fall, apologise and ski off. the crew gets all pissed (btw crew was composed only of 20 yr old or older) chases them and stop them at a flat zone. I got pretty close at that point so heard everything: a quite drunk or high enough to be aggressive af snowboarder takes his board off and rants at the kids and insults them for cutting them off and following them from the start with their stupid ass go pro. Kids respond that they didn't do shit, and that they'l just be on their way, not even insulting back. Then boarder is all like don't you fucking ski away when i'm talking to you, you think you can show me this little respect, you wanna fight bitch and all. I'm about to go talk some sense into the skier, who happens to be of a very similar style of clothing (baggy inspired :D, I'm thinking he'd listen up) when he gets to the kids, tells them that they better never come back to the park for cutting him up and almost injuring him. older kid tells him he wasn't in the wrong, but still apologises for it, and starts to ski away. Skier then whacks the shit out of the kid with his pole, snowboarder comes in and start punching the other kid who's probably 14 max. they manage to ski away pretty quick but the older guy must have taken at least 5 or 6 pole hits (and he was hitting fucking hard). I tried to chase the 2 kids and ask if they were alright but they beat me to the next gondola and probably took off as far as they could. I regret not going to the crew to at least get some names, but tbh i was alone and got pretty scared by the violence of the skier. One thing's sure though, if I ever see him again i'll round up some friends and take a shit in his helmet or destroy his skis (i don't think physical violence for physical violence is ever the best solution).

TL;DR: crew of boarders and a steezy freeskier end up pole whacking 2 kids who did nothing wrong and even apologised to them.

Gotta say the whole thing made me feel so sick, couldn't believe someone who loves the same shit as me and is even dam good doing it could do something like this, especially to 2 defenceless kids who strive to become as good as people like him. So wrong on so many levels
