Skifilm.com Roadgap session!

Jon Hatveit is one of the best ski cameraman right now. All followcams he does are sick. Sick job man

that's so sick, they got some crazy shots... after i watched that I watched the "First Attempt" trailer, then proceeded to watch the "Mind the Gap" trailer again and sit in awe wondering how skiing has come this far in such a short period of time...

that's sick andreas is hot! i really liked how, that told a story and showed him building the jump( that must of sucked) etc.

It's pronounced like something in between Jon as in Jon Olsson and John.

Instead of "Joon", it's "Jonn". Sort of.

You mean Jon Hatveit is the best camera man around right now.,.... and hes the crazy mother fucker that skied down that fukin massive Escalator SICK CUNT

that was by far the most innovative and creative follow cam I have ever seen. too bad it couldn't have been smoother though, cause then it would be illtight.

hows the footage end up so straight when the cameras movin all around? is there some kind of like shock obsorber?

thats what a wide angle or fisheye will do for you. It widens the angle of view and as a side effect, any movements are lessened. Considering on that one shot where they almost collided, yet the guy still looks a little bit away, it's probably a pretty large de-magnification (definitely not a word), like .3 or something.

damn just watched it again, still amazed how crazy good andreas is, not to mention the best followcam filmer in the business

ooo gotcha... i just figured, since there camera probly shoots 16:9 that there would be no need for a wide angle exactly, but i dont know a whole lot in the camera department.. so yea
