Skiers who don't smoke

I don't think any skiers smoke weed, it would be too harmful for their health and distract them from their skiing.

I love how this is a huge issue. Who cares. Buy yourself a jamaican flag and smoke blunts on the hill all day or get straight edge x's tattoo'd on your hands.

It doesn't matter.

Skiing isn't all about smoking weed. But at the same time who gives a fuck. Just do what you want. IF you don't want to smoke, don't. IF you want to go for it. That's all.

Its also not a blanket life decision whether you smoke or not. People can go through phases, enjoy it very infrequently, go for long periods of not doing it at all.

Life can lead you to just want to take a break. The weed isn't for everyone.

Well I'm actually gonna give a serious answer on this thread.

I'd probably say David wise. With 2 kids, a wife, and being a role model with a lot of expectations I don't think he does or has time for drugs. HOWEVER, for all we know David be doing weed once in a while to this day or maybe he did it quite a bit in high school. We just don't know. But if we found out some pros who do smoke weed currently id be suprised if David does it.

After Collin Collins Overdosed from too many marijuana injections and got kicked off Saga most pro skiers stopped using the drug

spot on about mr wise and other top comp performers. they are serious athletes training with super focus, no time for experimenting, but like mentioned, maybe it could naturally relieve aches and pains later in life. i just dont agree with the general consensus that weed is bad... it certainly isnt for everyone, but the misnotion that people have against it, or the people who chose to use it, is pretty ignorant. the most popularly accepted idea of dehydrating your physically drained body apres skiing with alcohol is real ignorance, which im very guilty as well...

cheers to everyones lifestyle! and dont forget

I think you'd be surprised at how many people you don't think smoke, do smoke. I still get surprised by people you think wouldn't. So don't ever rule it out! They could use it recreationally.

+1.

It's still funny the way marijuana gets viewed.

Who cares who smokes weed?

It should be no big deal. Just like drinking alcohol. How come there isn't a thread about which skiers drink?

Because that is silly and drinking is socially acceptable.

Smoking weed should be viewed just like drinking.

And vice versa...sometimes.. usually when you think someone smokes weed, they probably do. Sometimes you get surprised

I'd guess that Simon doesn't. Dude lifts like everyday and is so competitive that I would be really surprised if he did.

A Lot of snowboarders and skiers at my mountain smoke weed. you cant go through the park without seeing someone smoking a joint or blunt.

thanks for the heads up

It doesnt matter if people smoke. I doesn't matter if people drink. Be yourself. Do what feels right for you. If you think someone you love is endangering themselves tell them, but otherwise let it be.

True dont let people control you, be who you are.

TYW doesn't.....

Why smoke? Get yourself an inhalator and enjoy all the fun minus the black lungs. A good friend of mine *cough* *cough* trains 5 times a week on competitive bouldering team and studies law yet inhales 3-4 times a week. I personally know high ranking businessmen and partners who regularly enjoy a puff or two (or three, or four, or...).

Bottom line: don't judge, enjoy.

armada team does. at least most of them do. LINE team I don't think does. K2 team I really don't know. maybe sean Jordan and shea flyne.

it's really ignorant to say as a blanket statement that the line team doesn't smoke. are they public about it? no, they like to portray line as a kid friendly business but i'm sure Jlev and his successor couldn't care less what the dudes want to do in their spare time off camera.

and that goes for about any ski company

OP here. I never said I was against it i'm just curious which ones don't because me and my friends were having a debate

i would say its fair to assume most have inhaled at least once, they are all adults for the most part, bet the same goes for your parents and their friends ha

I wish people would just view smoking weed like they view drinking.

Nobody should care.

Pretty much this. I wish there were less of a stigma and it was accepted for what it is. Marijuana is no worse than alcohol and is actually, a safer alternative in many regards. Adults should be able to do what they want with their personal lives and it shouldn't matter. You'd be surprised by how many adults smoke, and as you get older OP you'll realize many people smoke. It's not a big deal if someone does or does not, and honestly if I had to answer the original question I would say there are not that many who haven't.

Inhalator? You mean a vape? Also, smoking marijuana, in not extremely frequent use, does not cause lung cancer or "black lungs". Vaping is definitely safer and healthier, but I don't think marijuana has many adverse effects, at least on the lungs.
