Skied Mount Washington Today

A friend and i got up at 3:30 a.m. drove 3 hours from MA to mount washington, hiked up about 80% of the way in 80+mph winds and about 100 yards of visibilty with driving snow, ripped about 20 turns turns then slowly made our way down feeling like there was a legitimate chance we might die. A very sketchy experience in general. Drove the 3 hours back home and just got back.

thanks for keeping statistics accurate. Glad you made it out but I seriously hope you too all the necessary equipment and safety precautions. That is a dangerous mountain where people die (some experienced, most not) on every year.

god damn, that's so legit. I've never skied tucks but I always have bad dreams in my sleep of me getting stuck in a bad avy at tucks and shit. Just random stuff like that. Mad props!
