So, i was on SBOL and i came across this thread about our thread hating on the Skiboards recently, They seem like a Bunch of cool guys but they do call us "Haters" alot, and some of us on NS are 'Haters' But some of us arnt. So read the thread and see what you think, in a way there hating on NS, but we hated on them so i guess its only fair, But i really dont know what to think, How about you guys?

Heres the thread- http://www.skiboardsonline.com/vbulletin/upload/showthread.php?t=5977

Wait, people still ski board? I know that sounds sort of cliche but I think it's been more than two seasons since I've even seen a mook riding a pair or skiboards. Where do these guys ride? Which areas still have a skiboard scene? I didn't see a single pair all season in Europe that I can remember. I don't think I even saw any the season before around Ontario, which I would think would be one of the last bastions of skiboarding.

Soon theyre going to have a thread in their forums called: Newschoolers.com, A thread about our thread about their thread

i saw a few, maybe 5 all season, in montana, and they were all super gapers. definately not a skiboard "Scene." does line still make these things?

These threads are lame. Who cares.

Shocker: I used to skiboard! Whoa!

Who gives a shit. I used to have fun doing it. Twin tip skis were not available to me at the time so I skiboarded and it was fun.

Ben (the kid they're referring to) Wannamaker is a good friend of mine and skis and skiboards with the best of them. I believe he's sponsored by Liberty skis.

Don't hate on skiboards. There's nothing worse than someone hating on something you enjoy doing.

I used to be a member on their forum when i temporarily switched to skiboarding, now i switched back, infact, i found out about NS through that site.

I don't think there is a "scene" necessarily, but I saw snowlerblading a couple of times this year at Timberline, OR. They gaped pretty hard and I was a bit worried they were going to break themselves off.

My brother and I used to skiboard. But I moved onto those new fandangled twintips and he just got sponsored by SBOL and hasn't sent anything in in a year haha

No, you can hate all you want, i totaled my old skis and picked up a pair of good ski boards cheap, so i stuck with it for a bit, now im back with twin tips.

ii used to be sponserd by them like 2 years ago when i still skiboarded

i basicly had to learn how to ski when i got twin tips last year

word

useally skiboarders arms are flailing all over the place and are just the oppostite of steezy

but you killed it so steezy props

I see the odd group of ski balders in Ontario, maybe two or three every day.

This year there a pack of mexican ski balders all camped out on the landing of a jump where no one could see them, needless to say i clipped two of them, which was followed by lot of vulgar Spanish words

Haha, I don't know what they're talking about. Their "If you don't know everything, you aren't a newschooler" idea is hilarious. And that NIG edit was seriously the first edit of snowblades that actually looked steezy. I didn't know that was possible. Ha.

A lot of people snowblade on PEI (they outnumber people with twin tips by a lot) and some do in Newfoundland.
