I just got home from a 2 week vacation to wisconsin last week, and I'm hoping to do some skiing this week! Does anyone know if Loveland pass still has a good amount of snow? or somewhere else nearby?

I would love to hike a little sketchy rail, or maybe build a couple small features, anything really....let me know! Thanks

If it were a bit later in the year i would say fourth of july bowl but i dont think the road up is clear yet

Going up to Breck tomorrow around 11, been chillin on a huge patch of snow on peak 9. Brought up a 20ft rail last week.

it's just me and my homie so if anyone wants to join in on a session the more the merrier!

It's off the right of the mountain access road about a quarter of the way up.

I drove up there yesterday and slightly modified your setup. Ha I didnt touch the up rail but i moved the snowboard jib. I was alone so I wasnt getting to crazy but if you had enough salt and a crew your could make some fun shit happen up there. I dont know if the road is all the way open but I think it is at least open to the peak 9 restaurant.

The road is pretty much clear up until tree line, but the last switchbacks after that might still be covered.

I built a new rail that i brought up Thursday, and plan on building 2 more identical ones along with a corrugate tube i have.

Anyone down to session Monday? weather is supposed to be nice!

I just came back from a backcountry ski trip were we hiked past st. mary's which has skiable patches along with Mt. Bancroft and James Peak. So all three have skiable patches with amazing hikes up!

They slashed our tires too, so getting our car towed after hiking half way down breck with all our gear was a huge ordeal too....

Want to go skiing on some snow with myself and totally trevor tomorrow as in friday june 14?? Call or text us 3025985506 and trevor (608) 576-3602 if you wanna come from broulder or summit!!!

it's rare for me to have a day off on the weekend but I have this sunday off! I really want to ski!

I've heard rumors of Breck being strict and kicking people off of peak 9, and also that most of the snow from that patch on peak 9 has melted...can anyone confirm these?? I really want to go up sunday with as many friends as I can rally, but don't want to be disappointed when I get up there!

let me know!

it wasnt melted and no one kicked us out = good times to be had.

also whats this i hear about st. marys glacier rail jam this weekend?

I would go up to loveland pass for fourth of july and get some skiing in but sadly just got a concussion :( good luck on finding snow though.

This. Anybody got any updates on if ANYTHING is skiable ANYWHERE? I skied Dragon Tail Couloir last week of May and it was definitely one of the last days it was able to be skied.

had tons of fun on st marys glacier this week, will be up there camping monday and tuesday with some buddies doing lots of skiing

Can somebody PM me directions to 4th of July Bowl and/or St Marys? I wanna go there after this coming week and camp/ski since I'll be jobless then.

just google breck and go to the beaver creek parking lot, from there you will see a dirt road. follow that road to the top of peak 9. There will be a lot of switchbacks, but keep going and then it will cut over to peak 10 and you should see a snow patch if you look closely you can see two cars up there.

I have no idea how to get to st mary's be nice if someone could help out there.

if anyone could post conditions that would be great.

My PM to ThaLorax:

st marys is super easy to get to. take i70 to fall river road exit, to fall river road for about 15-20 minutes until you see a pay parking lot on your left, keep going up the road to the second pay parking lot on the left and park there, the trail is right behind you on the road. Quick 15-20 minute hike up a road/trail and bam your at st marys

If you look up directions on google they will probably make more sense haha

so reguardless of when i go, what you're saying is that if i keep driving until i see a snow patch i'm going the right way?

pretty much, just make sure at the one lift the road goes straight and also cuts back, you want to take the switch back.

@ katrina, I may be hiding in the bushes.

ok, thanks for the advice. i hear the colorado super chair gets really busy in the summer....

thanks for the help.................. or not...........

Going up today, Snow up top is melting quick but the setup is :2 corrugates, 2 5ft pvc rails, 1 15 ft single barrel, and 1 5 ft skate rail.
