Ski with the best price/quality rate?

I've been thinking lately, what ski has the best quality for its price, my friend claims that Armada El Reys have the best price/quality rate. What do you think is the ski with the best quality for its price?

anything from praxis! their early season sale + 15% is unbeatable!

too bad they don't have anything on their lineup that suits me!

don't have any experience with boutique brands like on3p or praxis but out of the big guys id have to give a nod to k2.

I'm confused, on the Praxis site they are marked as being 2015 skis however they are also seen to be on sale, does this sale apply to their 2015 models? Or generally are the skis unchanged for next year?

I'm not quite sure, the sale was supposed to go until April, 7th. But looks like it's still on sale, but I'm not sure if the 15% extra (coupon from current customer) is still valid or not, since the codes are private until someone give it to you.

I think mostly the skis are unchanged, there is a new option for core (ultra light core, you can read about in their website), also there are new sizes for some of the skis and a continuous rocker option for the GPO. New for 2015 I think is the park&ride and snd skis.

Ah right I see. Because on the site when looking at skis their original price is crossed out and a cheaper price, probably 15% as you said,is shown, was not aware you need to get the coupon from someone, shouldn't be difficult to get though. Ok good to know, thanks, my older sister is looking to design the topsheet for me so I will probably miss the sale, oh well.

I wouldn't sweat over the top sheet, they have a big library for you to pick one! Yeah there is a code you can get from old customers that would give you 15% extra over the already discounted price!

Also, you can always email Keith and get some feedback from him, he is usually steering people in the right direction, that's what I heard from people that have praxis skis!

IMO praxis all the way. Custom USA skis made to fit you exactly. Get to chose stiffness, core, length, graphics, and more if you ask. On top of that quality and performance is awesome. They've got a pretty big line of skis too, so a lot of different applications.

Nipple- the 15% coupon is the one I sent to you- it works for your first purchase, so it doesn't expire. The skis on the website are the 2015 versions. I think they are mostly unchanged, but I know praxis makes small changes a lot and the skis are constantly evolving. He does a presale in the spring to drum up the custom orders- that gives him time to make each custom pair of the skis over the summer. Come fall/winter when the demand is up the price goes up and he starts selling "stock" skis as well.

If anyone is interested in a 15% off coupon for praxis pm me.

Atomic punx can often be found at amazing prices so I would have to say the punx.

I agree I got the 2014 Punx for $235 shipped with bindings. great, super durable ski too

Praxis is doing a preseason sale right now, you're buying next seasons ski, you'll get it in july or august-ish.

and that's the best deal out there on th best damn ski on the market.

2014 Afterbang for $199 new at Slope Style. I've never skied the Afterband so I can't tell you about the quality, but that seems like a pretty good deal

Don't go with the line afterbang it seems like a great deal, but it isn't worth it. I got mine for $250 with bindings and I had to buy new skis about 3 weeks ago. I do ride park about 75% of the time but by the time I bought new skis was because they delamed in the tip and I blew an edge on the other one. They are also very slow kinda heavy but in the spring or early season they get water logged and become extremely heavy.

Go with some 4frnts or on3p they are a bit expensive but in the long run it will be worth the extra $$
