Ski trailers WTF

So ive been watching some ski trailers because its that time of year and ive been getting really pissed off. Pretty much all of the trailers ive watched have had more than a 1min intros. Like come on i want to see some skiing not just some shots of helis and some skiers putting up some gang signs. its cool for about 30secs but seriously

i don't mind. they're a lot like the trailers you see in theatres, where they display all of the characters before actually getting to what the movie is about. take a chill pill.

the intro is all about getting u stoked and setting a mood. film IS art, you know

the intro is the key to the film, it sets mood and basically is the whole purpose of the film.

the intro is important, and often times because you are editing to one song, you are using the song itself to determine when the action will start. the into is often determined by the song.

soo then don't pick a song with a slow 1 minute plus build up for your teaser, anything that builds up like that won't be able to deliver afterwards anyway its always holy shit look at those treeees this movieees gonnna beee sicckk WAIT WHAT did i just see 6 different skiing shots in the span of 3 seconds lol!?

I totally agree with this guy!!

Like the Kongvinter5.no - Anagram Teaser up on the main page right now. It's over a minute of intro in which they basically just flash up their sponsers. Now I know dues need to be paid but if I fall asleep before a sub 4 minute teaser is over, that's a pretty big FAIL.
