Ski touring day trip – locations/conditions for shooting

Hey, reaching out to the better parts of NS for help:

Going on photo assignment.

The idea is to make a picture documentary of a ski touring day trip.

Uphill is as important as downhill.

Must shoot within four weeks from now.

What area/location in the US/Canada would you recommend?

Some must haves:

- scenic surroundings

- relatively untracked land

- at the same time, not too remotely located

- a proper local guide organization

- - - - -

BC, mainly whistler and surrounding area (but not limited too) is the only place you'll really want to be shooting for all of Canada in the next 4 weeks.

You certainly helped me select Canada over the US – and Whistler is a very probable option for my little team. I would just like to rule out any alternatives before starting to book the tickets.

Would you or anybody have an opinion about these in comparison to the Whistler area:

- Retallack?

- Revelstoke?

- Kicking Horse?

- Any other area?

Mostly interested in how the surroundings look; if they're epic enough to deliver a banger backdrop + obviously snow conditions.

Again, I'll be very grateful for any help. Our window of production is early to mid April.
