got it. its very...yellow. but decent. good NS content. and garrett brittain got published a ton, which is rad.
 
got mine today, but i am at school and home is not being planed to be visted until the 26th at the earliest. maybe the parents will send it down.

Its a bit too jibberiffic for my tastes, but hey that what the market wants... needs some good big MTN shots tho!
 
I got it, too. Definitely liked it. Glad to see some thoughtful articles in there from a variety of authors, though it would be nice to see a broader range of new school contributing authors. I'm sure they've got that planned for future issues. The ninthward interview was well done. I personally dislike the "what's your favourite colour" interviews -- waste of space. They could also maybe try to cut back on some of the hokey humour, like trying to get people to subscribe to save their Dad's nuts. But I don't want to sound too negative, on the whole, it was great and I commend Harvey and the others who put it together. Lookin' forward to the next issue.
 
I'm still a bit on the fence about it. There is a lot of flash and color and...yellow. But that picture of Travis Heed in the middle makes the whole thing oh so very worth it.
 
the skier from tremblant, i think his name is andrew bredt, from what i was told, should be featured at least every 3 pages doing something. he seems to be good at tricks and falling so whichever works.
 
WORST FUCKING SKI MAG EVER

Seriously, did anyone who has ever worked in the magazine business before have any input on this.

Bad lame photo's mixed with boring poorly written stories and absolutley no backcountry or powder shots.

You took a road trip to Montana and all you did was hit different jibs. Pull your head out of your ass and go ski the mountains out there.

I'm sorry, but I do work in the magazine industry, (different sport) and that's the lamest thing I have ever seen.

I know I'm going to get flamed for saying this, but it needs to be said. Just because something is about newschool doesn't make it cool or good.

I respect Harvey for trying but seriously look at your concept and core demographic before you publish this again.
 
dude, the whole point was to not have any powder shots, therea are tosn of magazines wiht powder shots, this is a riding magazine, not a normal ski one, so the montana thing with rails was dope.

yes the more you read it, you realize that it isn't supposed to be a mix of everything, its a jib mag...so for that it is great.
 
Pretty nice!!! I really like the interactive parts but Some/most of the font is hard to read and some shit is upslide down so i got confused but keep them coming
