Ski teams at uni?

what did you study at uni? (if you went) and were you part of the uni ski team/club? I'm going into my 3rd year (studying graphic design) and i've not really been interested in joining it my whole time at uni, I feel like it'll be a bit of a piss take, no real skiing etc. interested to hear your opinions if it's worth it though?
 
Oh 100% get involved!!!!

There are a lot of people that are "part" of the ski club that just want to drink, go on the holiday and don't actually care about the skiing. But there will be a group of peeps that do it for the skiing that will be fun as hell!

The yearly trip they go on will be your cheapest ski holiday, and the national comps are good excused to get pissed with like minded people! BUDS the comp in Edinburgh is 3000 students all watching a dry slope slopestyle comp, its fun.

I was at Leeds met for 3 years on the committee for 1 of those years and was the best thing i did at uni.

True, getting to go to the comps and stuff would be pretty sweet, and meeting some like minded people at uni would be awesome too. None of my friends really ski either. I'm only gonna be there for another 2 years so why the fuck not!
