so im going to whistler from ottawa in january for 2 weeks. I started skiing last season and i picked it up really quick because i was skiing up until i was 11. Personally id much rather ski in whistler but i dont want to hold my friend back who can ride pretty much anything. So i want to bring my board and my skiis. Doesnt anyone know of a large bag that could possibly fit both??

anything will help, thanks!

how long are you skis and board?

You might be able to fit them in to a snowboard bag if your skis are small enough.

If not, I'd recommend the Dakine or Armada bags. Both are equal. The Concourse is $$ though.

Try going to a shop, and seeing if they have bags, then trying to fit skis and snowboards of your sizes into the bags.

Ask first too

Dakine makes a lot of nice luggage bags, some with wheels and boots pockets. Just remember that airports will rape you with charges if it's over a certain weight.

1st post so i hope i dont sound like an idiot.

i was in the same position as you but i ended up with the Dakine Concourse Double. fits my board and skis no problem plus all my other gear. i just take my ski boots in a bag as a carry on. good quality too all my other luggage is Dakine. and it takes a beating traveling from PA to Whistler. the Armada Anchorage bag is legit too but i couldnt find one around me to check it out. hope this helps.

good idea on the snowboard bag alone but i dont think i could fit my skiis and board into a reg snowboard bag. But thanks for the responses guys, im gunna check out the double you guys were talkin about

yes this. i have one and its great, the only problem i have with it is if you (as i did when i went to nz) have skis that arent incredably long (at the time i had 171's) the bag is majorly unwieldy and you look like an idiot with it, otherwise it the best bag out there

This is what I took to japan and loved it. I fit my hellbents, anthems, set of boots, two sets of outerwear and two sets of poles in it
