Ski Slopestyle Gambling Odds

Goep dog at +1400 seems like a no brainer, McEachran also getting no respect at +3400.

Both colby and ahall would be good payouts too tho

Henrik and Teal seem like obvious options given their potential and odds.

Teal for sure, not surprised with henrik, he has podiumed at xgames twice in slopestyle in 9 years.

Now for big air, i'd put some scratch on henrik for sure.

Oh how tempting it is to put money on Harlaut. His is looking very comfortable right now and he has come out and won x games in years past without competing previously thar year.

Moffatt is coming off a strong win (in my personal reality he won x games slope) so there's that.

Nerding out right now while watching snowboard qualifiers to see how the course is. I might be way off, but if there's 12 that make the finals this is my predicted results:

1- A Hall (last to drop, taking it from Colby - mirror of Dew Tour)

2- Colby (2rd run)

3- Andri (falls runs 1&2, lands run 3 - overscored)

4- Goepper (early on the drop list, nails 1st run, underscored and belongs on the podium)

5- Forehand

6- Woody (1st run)

7- Jasper (judges just don't know what to do with him)

8- Harlaut (2nd run - wu tang!)

9- Dahl

10- Fabian

11- Evan (couldn't put down a clean run)

12- Moffatt (couldn't put down a clean run)

Bonus: Woodsy and/or Harlaut most likely to do an opposite carve rodeo/bio on jump 1.

Maybe?

then you mark him as likely to not finish a run... I think you like him.

All I know is, if it were me and I just put down the best runs of my career at X Games the personal expectations would be so high that I know I'd buckle under the pressure that I put on myself.

Watching the snowboarders and the course looks off. I don't think it's a wind issue. Kinda looks like the angles are wrong from takeoff to landing in the jumps. They're either landing heavy or too light. Not a lot of landing in the sweetspot.

Anyone know how much practice time they get on the course?

Thinking the same thing. It's like the speed Is off or something

It's kinda like the landings are too steep/short, they're either on the knuckle or they go way deep no in between

it's just a dynamic course. the boys are going to rip.

I wish anna gasser put one down. she was boosting!

zoe had it mostly dialed. she's fun to watch

I think people can go way bigger than what we've seen.

Yeah. By the end of the men's slopestyle it definitly showed that it's best to take it deep. Skiers gonna have so much hang time. Who's potentially got a quad in their bag? Now I'm thinking Andri or Goepper for the win with ...rails (they just gotta spin a bit and land) to dub 12 to switch trip 16 to quad 1980 (ok, probably just a quad 18).

Think a skier will get the speed and balls to slide the top of the house?

Its because they're women.

The way the scoring is set up, if the rail judges actually know what's a difficult/easy trick and aren't just wowed by same way spins and low consequence hits, then the podium will be skiers that are good at both rails and jumps.

Of course! I want to also see someone land on the roof kinda low then exit the roof like a jump, like a skewed take off and go ham.

Who’s judging this? That’s the question. I watched the womens snowboard slope some and just saw red and green boxes for jumps? Then a final score?

Also seemed hard to have someone finish a complete and clean run. Doubt that is the same for mens ski/board but who knows.

What's wrong with barstool? Ive been with bovada for 10 years. Just switched over.

Its run by a bunch of dumbass chads who make awful content and think they rule the world. I'd go with Fanduel if it was legal in my state.

Can you bet more than $15 on that same bet? this is ridiculous.

probably, but idk havent looked. I'm guessing they have a cap because they have absolutely no idea who is gonna win and are taking odds from another source that has handicapped the event.

Beware - these are effectively customer grabs. The sites will be ok if they lose a few dollars if they now have you as a customer for life because you are convinced they don't know what they are doing by setting lines.

$10-20 for fun is one thing especially when someone has the odds totally wrong but please don't think of this as some kind of get in early bitcoin, I can outdo the market type thing and be retired!

This is such a sad slippery slope if you have ever seen someone get sucked into it.

tbh tho 'dumbass chads who think they rule the world' sounds like any sportsbetting app on the planet.

I would understand why someone might think that, but most sports things get stereotyped into that persona, plenty of people enjoy sports who aren't dumbass chads.

Hahahaha I loved this, pretty accurate if you ask me. Especially with Tjader

Problem is, while I think A Hall or Colby will win, there's no money to be made there.

I wanna watch and see if I can see the start list for qualifiers before I put money down. Someone like Woodsy has a way better chance if he drops later. He usually nails his first run beautifully, then scrubs his remaining run trying to take it to the parking lot. Let him drop last in qualies and he has a chance.

But in all honesty, every time I play it out and accout for odds, Goepper is the bet. He has the ability to win if he is on poi t for the event, he is hungry for the gold and his odds (12:1 for my provincial lottery) are favorable.

I just placed my bets. Got money on

Goepper (12:1)

Moffatt (14:1)

Evan (20:1)

Let's go!

How did everyone do? I took bovada to the cleaners for the third straight Olympics. Placed a $5 parlay on mathilde, a hall and nico and won a cool $1159
