Ski Sizing

Hello NS, just looking at a pair of demo 186 On3p Magnus and demo 171 On3P Kartel 98s. I currently ride Volkl 161 non rocketed and they feel way too small. Do you think the 186 will feel too big for the park or about right? Lmk what size you think would be best and if I should try and get a different size ski or even a different kind of ski. Thanks.
 
The 171 would be a good fit for your height, if you're more of an advanced skier at your weight they still might feel short. I'd try to demo or borrow a few different sizes in that range and see what you prefer. At a certain point it comes down to preference, some people (myself included) prefer a longer ski, while some don't. If it were me I'd be looking for something in the mid-late 170s.
 
If your legs are strong get the 186 for sure. If you have weak legs maybe 171.. but 171 seems small for you
