I am 5 foot 8 and am on anr AR6 176cm but i feel they are too big for park. what size should i be on?

you're perfect, I'm also 5' 8" (155lbs) and I skied on 176 AR6s all last season, they take some getting used to, but they are sick once you get used to them.

K thanks i skied in whistler for a week this summer on them and they felt a litlle weird. they are a fun ski tho!

The bindings are mounted closer to the back because i went to a race shop and asked for centre. i will be skiing mostly park but still lots of back country. should i have my bindings put to true centre?

should be fine if you want the versatility and arent doing pure park just play with em for now should be fine and if not try centre mount but im sure u will be glad when your in any pow that your back a bit and got the bigger size skis...

ummm, tough call on the mounting point, I had mine at center, they were dope in the park, and ok outside the park. -2.5 is recommended by Armada, I'd go a little closer to center (either dead center or -1.5) if you're doing a lot of park (say center if 90%-100% park or -1.5 if 75%-89% park, go with -2.5 if anything less than 75% park). And yeah, it's one of the most fun skis I've ever ridden, I personally don't like soft skis like Lines, cause I can't get a good edge hold in the ice, but this ski was awesome, very fun to ski and I was able to hold an edge in the ice.

im a tad shorter and 165 are easier to spin and jib... im thinking about using 155 for jibbing this year because on my backyard setup they are amazing on rails trust me

ah sorry bro thought you meant for the guy that posted the thread cos he said he wasnt just park wanted to do some BC on his ar6s so 165 would be a lil short for that! jib away my friend wtever suits is where its at!

To help you try and figure out where you skis are mounted currently so you can decide if you need to remount I made this graphic. Just measure from the marking on your boot (all boots are different but somewhere on the boot there is a midsole marking) against any marking on your ski (its measured in cm, so you'll need a ruler with metric). I know that the only marking on the 09 AR6's is the recommended point of -2.5, but you can measure from there and add or subtract to see where you are currently (these are not my AR6s - I don't have them anymore, I sold them to a friend, these are the 09 Antidogmas and Full Tilt Booters). Hope that helps.

yeah, that's a good idea since that's recommended and you want to go outside the park and into the BC.
