Henrik is two inches taller than you and rides a 188

Henrik also has the skill for that and his dad has the cash to pay for a surgery if his knees go because of that

I'm 5'4 and I ski a 172 as my everyday all mtn ski. Shortest ski I've skied in recent years is 164 and that feels too short. Around 170 seems to be the sweet spot for me so I think your all good

Ok thanks but I strictly ski park and if you do ride park at all do they feel to big? But if u look at my profile I'm still pretty bad so I dont think I'll notice it too much

I hit park jumps with them and I think that size is great for jumps. I never hit rails with them because my edges are sharp but I'd imagine they would do alright.

What skis are they and what kind of riding do you do?

On3p kartel 96s I'm planning on learning a front flip this year but I mostly just ski rails and do swaps and spins off n shit

He’s also Swedish and their healthcare is nationalized so no need for his dad to pay

Henrik doesn't ski a 188 very often, unless he started skiing the ARV 106 more. Dollos are 180 and arv 86/96 is 184

I’m 5’4 I ski 170s.

I’m sure it’d be easier to learn spins on rails with like a 160/165. ( less swing weight )

But bigger skis = faster and more stable on bigger landings

its personal preference tho :) If ur still growing I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

You can always find some super cheap 163s on fb marketplace for like $50-$100 and just compare how they ride if it really bugs you

Can Admins make a stickied post like the what camera should I buy in media forums. Title it “what ski size should I buy”

I just went and watched your edit (btw nicely done). With your skill and the skiing you do 171 might be a tad bit long for my taste but still totally doable. If your still growing its well worth it to size up, better to grow into a ski than to grow out of it after a year

Yeah I bought em big cause on3ps are so expensive and I dont want to buy another pair for a while

i’m 5’6 on some 180s they’re a lil long but there’s many short dudes out there riding big ass skis such as henrik, pbone and most importantly swadburg
