Ski size right for me

i have read tons of threads on this and have decided just to ask the question myself

i am 5' 5'' - 5' 6'' 130 pounds. intermediate - expert, aggresive skier

i had a pair of 161's last year for all mountain skiing. did a little park skiing with them and learned the basics but i am going all out in the park this year. focusing mostly on technical rails 270 ons, 270 offs, and switch ups. will be throwin' down on a few kicker's also

My friend has a pair of twin tip 171 center mounted skis for sell that seem perfect for what i am trying to get done this season. this will be my first season focusing mainly if not all my time on park. i will be getting another pair of skis for those pow days so that is not an issue.

So my question is are these skis too large for me? even when center mounted? please let me know along with any other informations you mibht have

gear talk

buttttt, 165-169 seems like a good size, especially centered, it wont really seem that much bigger

i Guess what i am asking is since i am getting a next to brand new pair of surface skis. with amazzing bindings is it worth just getting the 171 or our those just to long for me? especially since i will be mostly focusing on rails

For mainly park skiing it really depends on your style. I ski 171 anthems and I'm 5'9. Though I know a guy who's 5'6 and he skis 171 invaders. Just depends on your style. For what you were talking about I'd say like the post above me, 165-169. But I think a 161 would be fine for you depending on the brand. Line tends to have a few CM higher then what they say.

yeah this is important too, the way they measure their skis makes em a few cm taller than they say. although i cant remember if they changed that for this year or not, take that into account if you're thinking about line
