Ski size charts

Anyone have a formula I could use to find the size that would perform best for me? I have an unconventional body type, skinny and somewhat tall.

6'2'' and 160lbs. Anyone know of any reputable charts? The one's on google are all for normal sized people

i'll get this out of the way:

damn dude youre skinny as fuck!

okay now that that's been said for the first and last time, here's my thoughts on sizing: skis should be as tall as you, give or take a handful of CMs based on your weight/skill/preference

basically what im saying is, unless youre weak as hell or arent very good, you should have a ski that's as tall as you. and if you charge and/or prefer more stability etc and can handle it, go a few CMs bigger than you

Yeah I know I'm skinny haha. I'm new to park so I'll stick with like.. eye level or a bit above

175-185 is what you should do. I ski 175 or 180 and I'm 5'9 but I obviously weigh more lol

If you're light and tall I would recommend you getting a softer flexing ski, so you have an easier time handling them. For example a 182 atomic punx will be easier to handle and more forgiving than a 181 volkl wall.

hit up evogear. On the left column of the home page there's a "size and buying guide" that's pretty informative.

Go big, and go sorta soft if possible, larger platform that you should be able to drive with your weight.

Your about my build, but im 15lbs more.

I ride 188 for powder

176 center mount for park

178 for all mountain

for carve skis 170, but 168 can do if the ski is super rigid. But 181 for GS go well

I'm 6'3 right now, and on 177's. They are a tad small, and will be upgrading next year, but they do well enough. I wouldn't prefer something huge, but moving up to 185's next year.

Im 6'4, and 160lbs, i ski 185s in the park, and thinking about getting 194 new lifes for pow. Basic rule is that park skis should be about the same height as you. Sadly, i havent found any skis to fit my height.

Be sure to check if the skis measure short. I'm 6 foot, 150lbs, my most recent purchase was a 186, but it really measured at 182-ish.
