yo so im gonna be out visiting UCCS in a couple of weeks, and me and my dad fgred while out tehre wed shred some gnar. but we dont wanna bring skis with us cause im ognna be traveling toa few colleges adn till be a hassle.
so reccomend me some good skis to rent while out there, as well as a good shop who will be able to rent some of those skis.
well be hitting up a basin so gotta be in that area.
i might put this up in ski gabber if i dont get many responses here
thanks

how fars that from the denver airport? cause i think were staying fairly close to uccs so i dont wanna drive an hour out of the way if possible.

A basin is small, so I doubt they rent good gear at their place...But, you can drive through Breck from CO springs to get to A Basin, and it only adds like 20 minutes, then go to CO freeride.

ahh change in plans, were landing in denver adn staying close to abasin, not uccs. so whats a good shop close by there?

most of the shops in Denver will be closed since it is the end of the season, but Ski and Golf may have decent skis for rental, I don't really know though, do a google search and then call around.

Yeah, I dealt with CF a while back... They are legit. My brother actually broke the binding on some demos, and they were just like, "No worries." Then that was it.

damn thas legit as fuck.

now what kinda skis should ii demo? like some 100ish waist skis? whats teh snow coditions like there?

We just got a ton, but by when you are out here it won't be nearly as good. Just check the weather before you rent.

will do, im kinda just tching to ride some semi fats like obsetheds or soemthing. coming from NY so i havent had the opertunity to ride anything fatter than my walls haha

It will definitely be softer, but they have A LOT of fatter skis at CF. My brother demoed some S5's, and they got the job done.

werd just checked out co freerides online shop, for $40 a day i can rent me some bents. i might get obsetheds so they arent completly huge and useless haha

Obsetheds are a charging ski...I would go bents even if it isn't much snow just to have some fun on the groomers. Butters all over the place, everyone likes that. If they have some soft midwaist ski try that.

it wont be over kill? is there a ski thats like 100-110 and rockered? bents are 122 right? seems wayyy toobig, but whateva ill never ride em again haha mighta s well try it.
