I'm going there for thanksgiving and want to ski

The best is Bristol, they are supposed to open Thanksgiving so your set, but there will be no park and like 5 trails

there is swain to but its like 800ft tall, no lie, and don't be fooled by their web site those pictures arent from swain

i wouldn't say there are any "resorts" by rochester, but ppl have mentioned the majors ski areas around rochester in this thread...

lol swain is terrible...650' vertical huge!!!!!!! i get nosebleeds when i go to the summit due to the atmosphere

yea bristol is the best, and maybe the closest, if your in rochester go there.

HA. you guys laugh at like 650, and 1200 vertical feet. Here we only have like 350 or so. We have a sick park, so i'm not complaining.

erik olson, in BOGART.. was raised on a 200 foot vertical hill with only a tow rope to move up, thats about 1 hour from bristol mountain so swain looks like heaven to that
