Ski repair

i cracked my edge in two places skiing yesterday, which isnt too bad, but on one side where it is cracked is pointing up and pushing part of the base up, any ideas on how to fix this?

so far iv just filed down the edge and now i have a piece of wood clamped to try and flatten it out

A ski shop will cut away the base and some of the edge and insert a new edge and screw anchors into the core to secure the edge. A little PTex and basegrind and they wlll be "fixed". $50+. Beer always helps.

Its no use replacing the edge, small sections like that always rip out. Best repair in this case is cut away the damaged edge, and base. Then epoxy the exposed base, base weld, then epoxy fill the section of removed edge.
