Ski Rep

If you have to ask chances are you aren't ready.

I think most reps at least have their foot in the door somehow with a previous ski industry job, or some sorta college degree or marketing info.

I agree with the last comment. Go work at a local shop and you will meet all of your local ski reps. If you can prove your self and are a cool person (very important) they might higher you as a tech rep. Once you are a tech rep you can work your way up as brands become available. Tech reps work all the shows, all the demos and get little pay. If it is something you want to do, work in the ski industry, go for it. Just make sure you have a summer job.

/\ /\ /\ couldnt have said it better myself. Thats about perfect. yeah you want to work at a local shop and just get to know a lot of the reps. it actually helped me out a lot getting sponsored because instead of having to send my stuff in not knowing if it was even going to make it to Line I just gave it to my line rep and he handed it up. Like said above its almost more important being just a cool person than being qualified. i know a lot of people i work with that try and suck up to the reps and they just wont have it. u can become a tech rep from there but it is extremely low pay and you have to drive a ton to all the shows and demos. you could work your way up but its not guaranteed Good luck dude go for it
