Ski Quality - Is there such a thing as a bombproof twintip?

In my experience, I have yet to find a ski that can handle heavy park use for more than 100 ski days. It's fun getting new skis every season but at the same time it sucks financially lol. What skis do you know of that can last??? My Volkl Walls are falling apart right now and about to become some very expensive urban/water ramp skis....

I don't think that there are many skis that can withstand over 100 days of hard park riding. But, I've heard head mojos and elan m02's hold up pretty well.

that sucks to hear, man. my walls are showing signs of pre-delamination in a few places...and not to mention my edges are already fucked from rails. they are still some dope ass skis tho.

same here man, I love my Walls too and it pisses me off that ski companies still can't build a rock solid park ski. I'm talking ski that can withstand a nuclear blast.... maybe Salomon's "edge armor" in next year's Suspects and Dumonts will work...

get a pair of first generation line invaders. They're so bombproof. i saw a guy rocking them at one of the local hills the other day.

word. I would guess head's from all that I've heard about them... Whatever you do don't get rossis though they all suck for edges

ive got some scratches from 2 or 3 years ago with easily over 100 days on them

and still kicking only like 2 or 3 edge cracks too

i think the mad trix and the older scratches are only real bombrood ski out there the old lines were tooo

My friend who weighs about 170lbs had the red K2 Fujis.. He beat those things to shit for 2 or 3 seasons and they're still in amazing condition. Now he has the 4frnt tnk's and they're look horrible after half a season of use

i love my mad trix, i got the second gen ones with the snake on it. they are so stable for big landings, however i wish i had a more buttery ski, but the problem i belive is that in the ski construciton phase, to give a ski these butter charerstics that are so popular now, it is really hard to insure consistent build quality for a ski to last mulltiple seasons on end.

and from a manufacturing perspective, why spend time and energy designing a ski to last multiple seasons, when they are just going to get destroyed from rails anyway.

just my 2cents on the subject.

my buddy had the red, black and white fujis with the like p-tex top sheet, and he skied like almost seasons on em. urbam, jibs, rock skiing everything and had alittle chipping but no core shots. it was crazy

tehehe

but yea, back to solomon, the edge armor stuff sounds cool, but who knows how well it will protect from delams and stuff, but i think its worth a shot. im kinda disappointed that my walls are almost shit, so i think next year its time for new twins again...maybe armada or salomon...idk.

im think i am going to get some fisher addict pros next year i have researched them some and looked at them in shops and stuff and they look super bomb proof

now i know they are super stiff which some people dont like but i love

has anyone skied them and can say if they really are as bombproof as they look

100 days in one season?

I htink youre getting your monies worth bro.

Its only a few hundred bucks a season, if you break it down to how many dollars a day... i think you will be able to justify the cost.
