Ski project

In my pre-engineering class we are allowed to do a project on our own. I was thinking of welding a bench made of skis, or an adirondack ski chair. So, does anyone have any experience doing either of these projects? I'm just looking for some ideas to get myself started.

Yea i took pre eng junior in HS. I mostly worked with coding that year, but this year in ADV topics, Im making ski poles made from carbon fiber. A friend of mine is making skis also. You should totally do it dude.
