Most skiers I see are using poles and some I see are not using them. Personally I don't use poles. Does it matter if you use poles? When i tried using poles they just didn't really feel conferrable.
It's all personally opinion, I personally like the look of poles, and don't feel right skiing with out them, but other people don't use poles and would never use poles so it just depends who you are
