Hi skiers

I have a school project where i am creating ski poles.

Just a quick question...

If you had the chance to creat your dream ski poles, what features would they have?

Thanks!!

dream pole equals

light

grab friendly grip

big ass straps

flexible (not so no bending)

cheap

pointy

thin, but not too thin grips

Medium thickness straps, maybe something with a little stretch to it

mellow colors, but defined graphics (see Joystick Sauce LTD's)

comes in really short sizes to use in the park

really small baskets (like 2" diameter) for park use, and big baskets (like 6") for pow

short, rasta down the shaft, those grips like the ones on the green line skis poles, straps that have the jibberish symbol embroided on them.

stick + grip + basket... But not the way Line does it... No offense Line... And btw where do you go to school where you have projects like that instead of writing papers and taking tests?

i go to a school in melbourne. its a project that we get to creat whatever we want, it just has to be an improved product :)

diamond but somehow still light. Also i would like to cast spells with it so it can be a diamond staff a swell. teachers love creativity haha

very short, skinny rubber grips alot like mountain bike grips, plain colors such as matte black or white, different sizes and colors of powder baskets, easily removable grips, thick and stretchy straps.

if it was done right then it would be soo sick....

maybe some mellow colors that go with everything. alos make sure they are up for the job (wont break easily)

I just got mine and I love them... got the screw off red pow baskets too

no. they get in the way of a moving your hands around on the grip. I've taken a few runs with a friend's swixes, which have the best "grab tabs" out there, and gone back to my poles without them and I wasn't missing anything.

bamboo is the worst idea for anything ever. adjustable maybe. only like 15 cm though, otherwise they get heavy, and I use 90 cm poles for park an 105 for pow/all mountain
