Ski Poles, Help.

I know you don't need any fancy poles but I'm sick and tired of breaking cheap poles in stupid ways.

Got any suggestions on a good pole to buy that will last a while??

i get my poles at the thrift store and they work great.

or you could go no poles ive been doing that a quite a bit lately

you can get composite poles. they bend a little instead of breaking. all aluminus will break eventually, but composites will last a lot longer. scott has a bunch of good ones, but the k2 extremes are my favorite, theyre composite. ohh and goode makes a lot of good ones. theyre real light too. but they cost more

I like armadas cuz they coem with sick baskets, but honestly you can buy the baskets and stick them on any pole. Theyre bmx style with a ratchet, so there's no glue or anything. Then get some rental poles and throw the baskets on.

get carbon fiber or fiber glass poles.....most resorts use them now just jank them from rentals...i have like 6 pairs of poles now...if you want to drop some money ROYAL SHAFT makes the best poles

i have the armadas and theyre badass but theyre still aluminum so theyre just as prone to breaking as any other aluminum pole

dude i use to have the same problem with bending and breaking poles... this year i got some orange K2 poles that are super flexible!!! so when ever they get banged up nothing happens and they look steezzy as fuck with big pow baskets... get K2 poles that are flexy they are the BEST!!!!!

i have scott riots and they havn't even bent yet there pretty durable expect for the paint. i'v your edges scrape them they'll live long grey marks(the aluminum) but besides that there tough.

i heard that the armadas are good because you can change the shafts with keeping the same handles. not saing there going to break but if you want to mix them up or something

i pretty sure there fat to so there probly tough

i have had my scott series 4 sl poles for 3 years, not eaven a little bent( and i use them for slalom)

this guy knows his shit

The series 4 poles from scott are bomber poles. Mine have taken such a beating. Too bad I lost 1 pole!
My buddy had the armada poles and he fell 1 time onto the pole and it bent and creased. Not the best quality imo.

The higher grade aluminum pole will have a little more give to them before they bend. Cheapo one will bend right off the bat. I prefer this because if the pole broke, chances are i was better off.

i just picked up the Scott Triton poles for 20$ ... they look sweet and have sick baskets... and i don't care if they break cause there cheap.... maybe try these

I'd recommend a pair of old poles like ones from the 80's or something...cut 'em down if you want to, you'll have poles like no one else, and they're bomb proof...you could probably find a pair at the dump or something.

SWIX poles any CT4-CT1 poles are really good. Some guy was selling some of the best swix poles a while back (like two weeks ago) for like 30$, I don't think he sold them. Buy swix

bamboo poles!! Make your own, they are flexible like carbon poles but very cheap and looks great!!
