In my earliest memory of ski patrol, I was riding up the lift and there was a patroller going through the park about to hit the halfpipe. I lean over to my friend, and I'm like- I bet this guy rips it up. Keep in mind this is the first year skiers are allowed in the "snowboard park" and I'm just a kid, so I figure ski patrol will rip it up. The guy gets ready to drop in, and as he does, one of his skis gets caught on top of the coping while his other ski goes to the bottom. thus, forcing the guy to do the splits the entire length of the pipe. he's probably a speed controller now.
 
that would be fun to see for sure, my first memory has gotta be the time in 5th grade when i didnt get off the lift soon enough so i jumped off and both my rental skis released so instead of helping me up a ski patroller just yelled at me and was like "stupid kid holding everyone up!!" say that with an italian accent too
 
i was following one through the woods, at my hill they are off limits, and then when i got to the bottom of the hill he almost pulled my pass. Fucking hypocrites
 
Last year at Moonlight patrollers skied what were probably the two biggest lines done all season, one of which was done on the clock. I guess they're all just shitty skiers!
 
what about the patroller from the roadtrip challenge vid? Correct me if I'm wrong, but last I checked patroller+slaying the park≠sucking.
 
im on ski patrol too, and i dont suck either. but a lot of patrollers do, believe me, ive seen some that cant handle shit other than groomers. its sad.
 
ski patrol at my hill cannot ski worth a shit.

my friend broke his leg last year and i wouldent let ski patrol take him down on the tobbogan. i skiied him down only after i showed them my staff pass and and my csia member card. they power trip sooooooooo much.

ill never let a ski patroller take me down the hill if i fall, ill ask for them to radio a ski instructor.
 
and i totally understand that, cause we have way more shitty patrollers at our mountain than good ones. and theres a lot of assholes, especially if your a young girl. a few just got kicked off at my mountain.

but theres definately a few good ones. and im raising my hand, cuase i hate it when everyone automatically hates you cause your wearing the jacket. its alright cuase i get to ski for free everywehre i go = ]
