Are there any Newschoolers out there that are patrollers? If so, where? How long have you patrolled? Just curious to see if there are any others out there

I started the patrol course last year at my hill, but the old, grumpy bastards drove me insane and I decided to quit. Its 99% politics and bullshit and 1% skiing

I patrolled for a bit in the north east. Your going to meet patrollers that are there to shred and give back and patrollers that are there to police the mountain. Once you find the shifts with like minded patrollers (the ones there to shred) it can be great times. That being said I bailed this year, the jerry's are on their own. I will revisit in the future for sure though.

thats spot on for what midwest patrolling is- my dad patrols in michigan and we always laugh how its all fat grumpy people, but it can be fun

im only 17 but i might join the patrol so i can stunt the jacket and lace a sick ass 2 pretz 2 in the park and than continue to patrol

but seriously pro patrolling out west sound sick- dont know much about it tho

This is also why I quit, they had a strict "no patrollers in the park" policy...which is super lame.

lmao they should have that at my place for the saftey of the patrollers- we have a guy everyyear on the patrol squadron break there collerbone from going of the "jump" that is actually a set of urban stairs next to a rail- they stick and than eat shit- happened to 2 guys last year
