Ski Park

My closest mountain doesn't have a good park, so me and my friends made one ourselves . we currently have a pvc pipe rail ( 16ft ) , handrail (15ft ) , and a 5ft tall quarterpipe 100% snow made. Anything else we could make? we also have a table top to move rails around and try new stuff

Just steal some more PVC tubes, and corrugated pipes, down rails man, thats all you need.

Hmm, maybe try and snag a picnic table from somewhere. Lots of stuff you can do with them. I'd also say grab more PVC pipe.

If you have a long slope where you set up your park you should just make a bunch of PVC pipe features so that you can hit like 5 rails in one run.

Maybe try building a medium size kicker, and metal rails... PVC breaks pretty easily when it's cold and you land hard on it

My neighbor that makes this with me, is also part of the Blue Knob Park Crew. and they have a pretty bad park. he isn't like the head of it so he can't use the groomer or stuff like that, so he has to put each rail in individually . but anyways, does anybody else know some good features to put in there? I'll tell him about the picnic table and see if he thinks he could get one into the park ! thanks guys!

I wish I had enough room for a backyard park. I miss those days in middle/high school hitting little features in my yard. So much better than having to drive somewhere every time I want to ski little jibs.

Go onto craigslist and look up quarter pipes for skating. docent matter how beat up or shitty. then buy some turf/ Skiiable surface, and put it on top of the pipe. lots of fun and very inexpensive if you find the right person. I got a pretty good condition quarter pipe (wheels included) for 25$

Build one of those jump to"bowl" to landing, like in sunny or the Candide Invitational (just make yours a lot smaller. I made one with a friend, tons of fun, so many cool ways to jib it (switch3 to 5, 180 to 180...)

Just build more varied rails. Pvc rails will be a lot easier to build and move around than jumps, 1/4s etc. Unless you have some heavy equipment of a land scape that's almost ready to go, building jumps and other stuff by hand is a pain.

Build some crazy rails and get awesome. Get a flat rail, down rail, dfd rail maybe down flat rail, flat down rail, aframe rail. When those aren't exciting enough and you have them all on lock build some wild stuff like Z-rails etc.
